In the month of January Royal Rangers and Girls Ministry went on a bike ride from Ojai to Ventura. We started at Mcdonalds on hwy 150 then rode to Foster Park where we rested for 20 minutes then continued our journey to Marina Park in Ventura where we had lunch and ended the bike ride.

Royal Rangers are at it again. Outpost 303 just came back from a Pow-Wow camping trip at Frazier Park, Ca. Also included in the Ranger program are monthly gun and rifle shooting field trips to Ojai Valley Jr. Gun Club in Santa Paula, Ca., where Rangers learn safety and handling of firearms by certified NRA instructors. Rangers shoot various firearms from 22 cal. to black powder. Royal Rangers ministers to boys in the United States and in over 65 countries through Bible study and memorization, devotionals, outdoor and camping activities, and Christian role models. Royal Rangers is a world wide ministry of the Assemblies of God designed to provide young people with exciting activities while teaching them a deep rooted belief in God and his Son Jesus Christ. A camping theme is at the heart of the activities, along with a Merit award system whereby Royal Rangers must demonstrate specific knowledge and abilities. Since 1962, this program developed by Rev. Johnnie Barnes has since spread beyond just one denomination to many churches in many countries. The objective of Royal Rangers is to REACH, TEACH, and KEEP boys for JESUS CHRIST.
